About Applied Geophysical Services

Mission
To provide high quality, fast turnaround, cost effective depth processing solutions using geophysicists with the highest level of skill and experience and the best track record in the industry.

Experience
AGS has been successfully delivering depth processing since 1978. We have substantial experience in many of the deepwater hotspots including the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, Brazil, North Sea, Middle East and Far East. Our ability to remove multiples, isolate signal in noisy environments, and image complex geologies with steep dips, vertical dips and overturns has earned long-term relationships and years of repeat business from our clients.

Fast Turnaround
AGS routinely completes projects in less than one month. This includes pre-processing and three images. Projects with significant or difficult multiples typically take two to three months as we may generate fifteen or more images to get the best possible results. Here are some recent examples of our work:

Blocks Preproc Radon Tomography Imaging Time Results
50 Yes Yes 3 6 14 days Client found important event that post-stack depth and time migration had missed.
100 Yes No 14 14 10 weeks Client was delighted, saying we brought data out from under the heavy multiples with a clarity that they had never seen before.
